Park Lanes (2015), an eight hour documentary film about labor by Kevin Jerome Everson, examines a full workday inside of an Ohio factory and manufacturer of bowling equipment. Everson calmly examines the workplace through an objective lens, without voice-over or narration or inter-titled exposition, and protracted shots allow breathing room for industrial, run-of-the-mill tasks to unfold. The film quietly venerates the American worker; tranquilly, it extols the importance of a symbiotic relationship between worker and employer.

The film premiered at the International Film Festival Rotterdam and currently is streaming on The Criterion Channel.
