Sharp Edge Blunt (2010) by Leighton Pierce

Today is a beautiful day and pomegranates are in season. Sharp Edge Blunt (2010), by Iowa-based filmmaker, Leighton Pierce, is a sumptuous one-minute HD short — a metal and fruit study — sound, texture, loud action, heating, pounding, and the juicy fruit.

During the cold winter, it’s nice to see someone forging his metals. Ulterior reasons lead us to a visual feast ending with all-natural fruit juices, not from concentrate, no preservatives, a process that parallels other processes. Satiety of fruit, fire, and metal in one hot-and-heated minute.
